Results of training needs survey
We carried out a survey on companies’ training needs, and the interesting results of this have arrived. The survey covered 180 manufacturing industry companies in Finland’s Uusimaa Province. The companies’ payroll was set at over 50 employees.
More than 95% of the respondents train and coach their personnel, and they consider training a crucial factor in boosting their competitiveness. We asked them how much need there is to link development and training clearly to strategic priorities and attaining the main goals. More than 85% answered affirmatively!
In our opinion, the results reflect the central importance of precisely the criteria that we at Completo want to ensure for our clients. Completo supports its clients in prioritising their training subjects correctly, and the trained personnel in a customised way to boosting precisely the right skills for upgrading their result-making abilities.
The main criteria for choosing a training and/or consulting company were thought to be expertise (74% of respondents), reliability (62% of respondents) and the price/quality ratio (53% of respondents).
The companies intend next year to deploy in communications and interactive skills, leadership and teamwork training sessions, sales and marketing, and training aimed at mental wellbeing and fitness for work. Training in technical skills also played a part.
